1. PASTE, PICK, MAKE
Drop any passage into the box: a paragraph from a book, a news clipping, a bit of a primary source. Check the parts of speech you want turned into blanks. Hit MAKE IT A LIB.
2. REVIEW YOUR BLANKS
The AI picks words to blank out. You're the boss. Click any word in the passage to make it a blank. Click any tile to change its category or color, or remove it. Click the pink title to rename the Lib. When you like it, hit READY.
3. FILL IT IN
Kids shout silly words, you type them in. If a word repeats in the passage ("Earth" three times, say), it gets one input. Fill it once and it populates everywhere. In a hurry? AUTOFILL drops in random, classroom-friendly words that match the right tense and form.
4. REVEAL!
Read it aloud LINE BY LINE for suspense, or ALL AT ONCE for a big laugh. Click any individual pill to flip that word between the silly version and the original. Hit ⛶ for projector-sized fullscreen.
MY SAVED LIBS
Saves live on this device only, no cloud. VIEW replays a saved Lib with its silly words. FILL IT IN keeps the same blanks but wipes the answers so a new class can fill it. EDIT lets you rework the blanks or title.
SHARE BLANKS gives you a link that opens the Lib with empty blanks, great for handing a template to another teacher. SHARE SILLY gives you a link that opens the completed, filled-in version, great for emailing the laugh-out-loud result to a parent or colleague. Links are long but work in any browser.
CLASSROOM TIPS
- Passages under ~250 words pace best.
- Don't paste real student names, IDs, or IEP details. AI providers may log what you send.
- 25 AI generations per day. Plenty for a week of classes.
- On the Reveal screen, PRINT produces a clean black-and-white handout of the current version (silly or original, whichever you're showing).
- If the AI has a bad minute (rare) you'll get a friendly message, and you can still build the Lib by hand from any passage.
