❓ How to Use Decimal Lab

Goal: Multiplying by 10, 100, or 1,000 moves the decimal point right. Dividing moves it left.

Slider: Drag right to multiply (move decimal right), drag left to divide (move decimal left). The number of places equals your power of 10.

Answer field: Type the resulting number and press Run Experiment or hit Enter.

Place-Value Chart: Shows each digit in its column. Highlighted cells show the current number.

Hints: Up to 4 hints are available per problem β€” no penalty for using them!
